Denver Celebrates Elway’s Hall Of Fame Induction…With NEW Elway’s Comeback Crunch CerealJuly 6, 2004 – John Elway is planning one more comeback in Denver…this time at the breakfast table! PLB Sports is proud to announce the introduction of NEW Elway’s Comeback Crunch Cereal! Available exclusively at Kings Soopers and City Market retailers in Denver, this commemorative cereal was created to celebrate Elway’s enshrinement into the NFL Hall of Fame on August 8, 2004. For collectors and Elway fans outside of the Denver area, Elway’s Comeback Crunch will also be available exclusively on-line at www.plbsports.com. The limited edition frosted corn flakes cereal is already flying of Kings Soopers shelves, no doubt in part due to a tremendous box design featuring John Elway’s likeness and Elway’s official Hall of Fame memorabilia. Elway also took this chance to highlight the Elway Foundation on the box, whose mission is to join with the community’s efforts to eliminate the dreadful crime of child abuse. When inducted into the Hall of Fame in August, John Elway will become the first player in the Hall bases primarily on his accomplishments in Denver. Elway retired from the Broncos as the league’s all-time winningest quarterback with a 148-82-1 record. To add to his accolades, Elway went to nine Pro Bowls, started in five Super Bowls, won two and earned Most Valuable Players honors in Super Bowl XXXIII, his final professional game as a player. This is not the first time that PLB Sports has teamed up with a popular Denver athlete to create a winning team.
